Birthing Bead Necklaces

The Mothers Bead Necklaces is a wonderful custom used to celebrate the rite of passage into motherhood. Usually made at the soon-to-be Mother's Baby Shower, request that each guest bring a special bead, for each child they have to string on the necklace. The necklace symbolizes the empowerment the mother has over the experience and the strength of shared experiences from all the Mothers that placed a bead on the necklace.

The Doula/Midwife bead necklaces are typically worn by a Doula/Midwife for keeping count of the babies they have helped deliver. You simply add a new bead for each birth.

The BellyKast Sculpture that comes with the Birthing Bead Necklace is similiar to the larger sculptures, they come with the same skin color options. But they are only 1 1/2 to 2 inches in length and can only come with one baby in the womb. The necklaces come with one bead (colors may vary) for your delivery and with blue or pink ribbon depending on your preference of a boy or girl in the womb.
